As of January 12, 2023, project was awarded to DSW Homes, awarded amount is $242,861.06. Help Desk representatives are available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET. Questions received prior to the submission deadline date and time, the State's response, and any additional terms deemed necessary by the State will be posted in the Sourcing Tool in the form of an addendum and shall become an Addendum to this IFB. No information, instruction or advice provided orally or informally by any State personnel, whether made in response to a question or otherwise in connection with this IFB, shall be considered authoritative or binding. Vendors shall rely only on written material contained in the IFB and an addendum to this IFB. All projects will require 100% performance and payment bonds, individually or as a whole, after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and Work Order (WO). Failure to submit bonds 5 calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and Work Order (WO) will result in default on the contract. NCORR is seeking to procure the services of General Contractors to perform, or cause to be performed, rehabilitation of eligible structures in compliance with local, Federal, and State statutory requirements for grants. General Contractors must mobilize within 20 days of Contract award (which shall include obtaining consent to perform the work, design, permitting, surveying, temporary utilities, etc.) and complete assigned construction projects within the contracted time (subject to environmental remediation), construction in most cases should not exceed 45 days for rehabilitation to reduce potential hazards to public welfare and safety. Days refer to calendar days. It is the intent and goal of NCORR and the State of North Carolina to make every HRP home project successful, so Vendors are encouraged to work proactively with NCORR to identify and resolve all issues and problems immediately to minimize delays in completing HRP projects.
