The Jeff Davis Board of Education ("BOE") as ("Owner") is soliciting Proposals from firms interested in providing construction management at-risk services for the Renovation to the Auditorium of the Jeff Davis High School project known as Project "Jeff Davis High School Auditorium Renovation" for the Jeff Davis County Board of Education, Hazlehurst, Georgia. This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to identify a CMR for the above-mentioned services. The RFP's will be reviewed and evaluated by a "selection committee" and a CMR will be selected based on a scoring matrix provided in the RFP. Firm interviews will be conducted at the discretion of the selection committee. The BOE reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities at their discretion. Interior Modifications and Renovations to the existing High School Auditorium located on 156 Collins Street, Hazlehurst, GA. The High School Auditorium Renovations will include but are not limited to:
1. Removal and replacement of all existing auditorium seating with new auditorium seating.
2. Cleaning, prepping, and repainting the existing Auditorium space (walls and ceilings)
3. Removal and replacement of all existing auditorium flooring with new carpeting, LVT, as well as new stair tread & riser covers.
4. Removal of and replacement of all acoustical sound panels with new acoustical sound panels.
5. Removal of and replacement of the front-of-house curtain with new front-of-house curtain
6. Removal and replacement of all 4" resilient base throughout the Auditorium.
7. Rewiring and upgrading electrical and auxiliary wiring in select areas of the Auditorium.
8. Removing select area floor finishes and installing new floor finishes.
9. Sanding and refinishing the existing stage wood flooring.
10. Various other small improvements as detailed in the Construction Documents.
