Site work for a water / sewer project in Williams, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of December 14, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The Project consists of drilling a 450-foot-deep pilot hole and E-logging of the pilot hole for completion of an 18-inch cased and screened potable water well to approximately 450 feet. Construction of a new metal building around the finished well will follow, along with a 50,000-gallon bolted steel water tank, three pressure filters for iron and manganese removal, miscellaneous site piping, electrical, and control improvements, and all associated appurtenances. Water main replacements include 2,876 feet of 12-inch, 4,300 feet of 8-inch, 500 feet of 6-inch, hydrants, valves, and service lines. Engineer's Construction Cost Estimate is $5,400,000 to $6,000,000.
