City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri, (CU), establishes a Contract to purchase: POWDERED ACTIVATED CARBON (900# super sacks) for a period of one year beginning 1/1/2023, with renewal options, and subject to the following:
1. The quantities shown are estimates only, based on one years use, and may be increased or decreased by CU as its needs demand. CU does not guarantee any minimum or maximum quantities of items to be purchased. Vendor shall not be entitled to an increase in the contract prices if actual quantities are more or less than estimated quantities.
2. No deliveries are to be made or services provided until authorized by CU.
3. Deliveries to be made Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
4. Shipments of approximately 16,000 lbs to be made to either of the following locations (or may be split between these two sites):
Blackman Water Treatment Plant, 2601 S. Blackman Rd. Springfield, MO 65809
Fulbright Water Treatment Plant 3920 N. Farmer Rd. Springfield, MO 65803
5. All Deliveries must be accompanied by a printed weight ticket from a scale certified for commercial use by the appropriate state. A copy of the certified weight ticket shall be furnished at the time of delivery and a copy shall be attached to all invoices.
6. Prices are to be firm for each agreement period and F.O.B. City Utilities, Springfield, Missouri.
7. Payment contingent upon receipt of acceptable affidavit of compliance.
8. CU reserves the right to cancel part or all of this Contract with written notice. CU also reserves the right to add similar items to this Contract as needed.
9. Any and all changes to this Contract will be by a written change order issued by CUs Purchasing Department.
10. This is a nonexclusive contract. CU reserves the right to purchase same or like materials from other sources as CU deems necessary and appropriate. This Contract shall be valid for a period of one year. City Utilities shall have the sole option to extend the Contract in one-year increments, or any portion thereof, for a cumulative period of two additional years.
