Queensborough Community College Building Automation System Upgrades M/WBE: 18.00% MBE 12.00% WBE 3.00% SDVOB Aramark Engineering and Asset Solutions, as agent for the Dormitory Authority State of New York (DASNY), is seeking qualifications from firms that would like to participate in a future Bid Solicitation, as the Prime Contractor, for the installation of campus wide Building Automation System (BAS) controls. All interested contractors shall submit a Statement of Qualification and NYS Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire ("VRQ"). Information submitted shall be evaluated to develop lists of Pre-Qualified Bidders for the energy project which Aramark Engineering and Asset Solutions intends to solicit construction bids for in the next two (2) months. A short list of firms shall be developed. This short list of Pre-Qualified Bidders shall receive the Bid Solicitation. The successful low bidder, as a condition of being awarded the construction contract, must execute a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) that shall be included in the Bid Documents. The successful low bidder, as a condition of being awarded the construction contract, must submit and have approved a project specific Utilization Plan for MWBE Contractors in accordance with the goals that will be included in the Bid Documents. For each project, the list of Pre-Qualified Bidders, developed by Aramark Engineering and Asset Solutions, shall be approved by DASNY. The minimum experience level required is as follows: Experience serving as Prime Contractor on federal, state, or municipal projects; Minimum five (5) year's experience serving as Prime Contractor for at least five (5) large scale multi-building or campus wide Building Automation Systems installations and integration, with Central Utility plants, Instrumentation and Controls for HVAC, stand-by Electrical and Fire Alarm and Detection, with a minimum value of $3,000,000, each completed within the last five (5) years; Ability to obtain Payment and Performance Bonds for the projects. The anticipated scope of work for the project(s) shall include the following: Remove existing Building Automation Equipment to accommodate the installation of the new equipment. Furnish and install new Building Automation System Equipment across the 16 buildings totaling approximately 960,000 gross square feet of the QCC Campus. Furnish and install associated control panels, controllers and devices, tie into functional and operational building HVAC system equipment. Furnish and install necessary electrical modifications and pneumatic tubing modifications as required to facilitate installation of BAS upgrades. Furnish and install Informational Technology (IT) BAS integration equipment as required for remote monitoring of BAS. Replacement of selected control end devices The Statement of Qualifications shall include, at a minimum, a Transmittal Letter and the information requested in the below listed TABS, organized in the same manner. Transmittal Letter: In the Transmittal Letter, please indicate the contact information for the individual at your firm who shall be receiving communications regarding the bidding of the project (Name, address, phone and fax numbers, and email address). The information in this TAB shall include a list of projects (maximum ten (10) projects) that clearly demonstrate relevant experience with building automation system installations for major facilities, for which the firm has been the Prime Contractor. For each of the latest five (5) projects, provide the following information: 1) Project name; 2) Project location; 3) Construction Contract Value; 4) Dollar value of all change orders; 5) Firm's project role; 6) All project trades under the prime contract (including all subcontractors); 7) Trade(s) self-performed; 8) Year construction started; 9) Year construction completed and closed out; 10) Client reference with contact information; 11) Owner Reference with contact information; and 12) Project designer reference with contact information. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 18% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 12% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 3%
