Project consists of Milling, Removal of Existing Structures, Grading, Reconstructing intersection at N800/E2200 RD., Aggregate Base (AB-3), Cross Road Pipes, Cast-in-Place (CIP) RCBs, HMA-Commercial Grade (Patch), HMA-Base, HMA-Surface, Temporary Erosion Control, Seeding, and Traffic Control This project has an Add-Alternate Bid to change the two (2) 12’x6’ Cast In Place (CIP) structures with a Pre-Cast Option. Each bidder shall be required to deposit with such bidder's bid a CERTIFIED CHECK, CASHIER'S CHECK or a BID BOND for not less than Five Percent (5%) of the base bid as a guarantee that if awarded the Contract, the bidder will enter into a Contract and give bond as required. Said check or bid bond shall be made payable to the Douglas County treasurer. The Board of County Commissioners of Douglas County, Kansas reserves the right to reject nonconforming bids and to waive technicalities, and to award the contract to the bidder which is the lowest responsible bidder
