The work consists of providing tree pruning and removal services for selected locations along West Colorado Avenue between 7th St and 31st St. This is a busy corridor lined primarily with ash and American elm trees. Proper traffic control will be necessary to safely complete the work and residents will need to be notified in advance to move vehicles parked on the street. Our objective is to prune for street and sidewalk clearance and structure, remove deadwood, clean up storm damaged stubs or broken branches, and to reduce heavy or extended live limbs to minimize future storm damage potential. Most trees along this corridor will be pruned and each tree and job description has been listed on the attached Excel spreadsheet. The trees to be removed have been marked with a paint dot at the base and are also listed on the attached spreadsheet. The Contractor(s) selected will assume full responsibility for pruning or removal of trees as identified by the City that are diseased, in declining health, or pose a safety hazard to the public. Services include debris removal and disposal and clean up associated with these arborist activities.
