Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in The Colony, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
** As of March 10, 2023, project canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** The scope of work consists of the relocation of two brick paver medians to modify existing U-turn lanes into a shared left turn lanes on the eastbound and westbound SRT frontage road and any other work deemed necessary by the City of the Colony. This construction is to address traffic backup at this intersection during peak hours. The work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, preparation of right-of-way, traffic control, demolition, sidewalk, barrier-free ramps, concrete roadway paving, signalization work, and pavement markings and signage. The opinion of probable construction cost for the overall project is $181,000.
