Project includes the furnishing of labor, equipment and materials to construct: Approximately 938 LF of 6-inch waterline, 1174 LF of 3-inch waterline, 1309 LF of 2-inch waterline, 160 LF of 1-inch water lines, flush hydrants, casing, valves, reducers, connections to existing lines, and other appurtenances and incidentals necessary to provide a complete installation. No pre-bid conference is scheduled. Bidders have until 2:00 p.m. local time, on December 21, 2022 to submit questions email to Todd Gleason, tgleason@barkerengineers.com. Bidders must follow email with a phone call to 580-931-9045 (office) in order to confirm the emailed questions were received. Each Bid must be accompanied by a BID BOND payable to the OWNER for Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID BOND. PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE AND STATUTORY PAYMENT BONDS in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The OWNER may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all BIDS. Any BID may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of BIDS or authorized postponement thereof. Any BID received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No BIDDER may withdraw a BID within sixty (60) calendar days following the actual date of the opening thereof. The OWNER reserves the right to: change dates the bid will be considered; waive all informalities; reject any and all bids; choose whether to accept alternates, if applicable; adjust quantities; and add or omit items of work as deemed necessary to conform with budget or other constraints; and to accept that bid deemed most advantageous for value received.
