Scope of Work: The purpose of this Bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed Bids, to retain a Contractor for the construction of restrooms on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Cybrarium, as well as installation of an elevator in elevator 3 shaft. Location- Cybrarium Building 80 West Mowry Drive Homestead, FL 3303 Insurance: Required The estimated project budget is $800,000.00. Pursuant to Ordinance No. 2016-12-16, a Cone of Silence is hereby imposed on the project identified above. Disclosure: A Cone of Silence shall be imposed upon each RFP, RFQ and bid after the advertisement of said RFP, RFQ or bid. At the time of imposition of the Cone of Silence, the City Manager or his or her designee shall provide for public notice of the Cone of Silence by posting a notice at the City Hall and or electronically. The City Manager shall issue a written notice thereof to the affected departments, file a copy of such notice with the City Clerk, with a copy thereof to each City Councilmember, and shall include in any public solicitation for goods or services a statement disclosing the requirements of this section. Final completion shall be achieved 180 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed.
