This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener ("the City") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for McLennan Park - Master Plan Review. The City of Kitchener is in the process of revisiting the 2003 master plan for McLennan Park, built on a former landfill in two primary phases in 2008 and 2011. The City has experienced a number of challenges with the park facilities built and is in the process of undertaking a detailed survey and facility condition audit to be used to inform the work of the master plan review. The successful respondent will be able to utilize the extensive data captured to facilitate a wholesome review of the park master plan, look at recreation trends, examine best use for the McLennan Park lands to inform a better understanding of the site challenges and allow for planning of future capital and operations & maintenance works. Work is expected to be mostly completed in Q2-2023 with expected reporting out potentially extending into Q3-2023. The City will only consider quotations received from respondents who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFQ directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the "Bidding System").
