Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Binghamton, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
The City of Binghamton seeks statements of qualifications from professional firms to produce a construction design for streetscape and pedestrian improvements for Memorial Bridge (42.09322, -75,91698). The project scope will include at least the following: 1. Complete construction-ready design drawings for streetscape improvements on Memorial Bridge. 2. Coordinate a public input process for designs. 3. Produce concept renderings of design options. 4. Present to the City's Commission on Architecture and Urban Design (CAUD). 5. Coordinate reviews with the New York State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), if necessary. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
