Working plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and road / highway.

**As of April 20, 2023, bids received were rejected. No definite date yet for rebid.** For the following project: Site Work for the New TK Classroom & Student Services Buildings. The scope of work shall include site demolition and preparation for (2) buildings including grading & drainage, fire sprinkler lines, sewer connection, concrete flatwork, fencing, site electrical to buildings, fire alarm connections and devices, low voltage (data pathways and cabling), asphalt paving, seal coat and striping. Modular Buildings shall be supplied and installed by AMS Modular. The work shall be performed within the following time frame: 120 days (completion by June 30, 2023) The District has determined the general prevailing rate to be the per diem wages for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed to execute this contract as set forth in the collective bargaining agreements for Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, California, COMPLIANCE MONITORING: This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor Commissioner. Copies of all collective bargaining agreements relating to the work are on file and available for inspection in the office of the California Department of Industrial Relations, Division of the Labor Statistics and Research, 455 Golden State Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102, (415-703-4780), portal. In compliance with SB 854, no Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relationspursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. In addition, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. A valid Type A and/or B - General Contractors License will be required. Proposals must be returned in a sealed envelope, identified by the proposal title McSwain Union Elementary School District - Bid for the site work for the new TK Classroom & Student Services Buildings and bearing the name and address of the proposer. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and/or waive any irregularity in any proposal received. Unless otherwise required by law, no proposer may withdraw its proposal for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
