Provide architectural programming and planning services for the Ambulatory Care Center Master Planning project. The University of California, Davis Medical Center, located in Sacramento, is the primary teaching hospital for UC Davis Health. Ambulatory clinical services are offered on the 140-acre Sacramento Campus as well as throughout Network Clinics in the greater Sacramento Region. On the Sacramento Campus, the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), also known as the Ellison Building, was built in 1996 and contains approximately 375,000 square feet of predominately outpatient care space. With several departments relocating out of the ACC over the next 5 to 10 years, several departments in need of a new location, and several building systems and components in need of repair, a master plan investigation will be essential to identify prioritized renovations and modernizations for the ACC that will allow UC Davis Health to continue to provide premier clinical care services to its patients. UC Davis Health is seeking an Architectural Consulting team to provide master plan services for the ACC building including programming and planning. Besides relevant experience, a key factor in selection is the ability to successfully interact with University personnel and other project consultants during this phase. Delivery models for subsequent projects that will be identified in the master plan report have not been determined and will be contemplated during the assessment.
