The scope of work includes the replacement of approximately 143 lin- ear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe, 3,634 linear feet of 10-inch sanitary sewer pipe and 23 manhole replace- ment/installations; the reconnection of approximately 52 service laterals; asphalt paving; and restoration work. The scope of work includes the enhancement of approximately 5,100 linear feet of a stream channel through stream grade control installation and standard pipe protection. Specific items include: The installation of approximately 228 rock sills, 1,372 CY riffle grade control, 45 CY rock toe, 8,567 SY of coir matting, and 4,058 CY of general excavation.The rehabilitation of approximately 1,340 linear feet of 10-inch diameter sanitary sewer with cured-in-place pipe and all restoration work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any "Statement of Bidder's Qualifications" if the evidence submit- ted by, or investigation of, such prospective bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such prospective bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obli- gations of the Agreement and to com- plete the Work under this Contract.Such evidence should include, but not be limited to, the successful comple- tion of three (3) projects as the prime contractor within the last ten (10) years. The Contract Time for this project is five hundred forty (540) consecutive calendar days from the effective date of the written Notice to Proceed to achieve Final Acceptance. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the Contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the Contract Completion Date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages.
