The City of Scottsdale is seeking to contract with two (2) or more professionally qualified Job Order Contract (JOC) contractors to provide vertical/facilities construction, on an as needed basis at various project locations throughout the City of Scottsdale. Over the past five years, the City has spent an average of $3.21 million dollars annually for the existing Vertical job order contract. The individual Job Orders assigned under the contracts ranged from $11,700 to just over $2.75M. Thirtyseven percent (37%) of the Job Orders issued were under $100,000. Fifty-four percent (54%) of the Job Orders issued were between $100,000 and $999,000 and the remaining nine percent (9%) issued were over $1M. The initial term of the JOC will be for two (2) years and have a maximum contract term amount of $15,000,000 and an individual Job Order maximum amount of $3,000,000.00. This JOC may be renewed for up to three (3) additional one-year terms. The renewal terms will have a contract term amount of $7,500,000 and an individual Job Order maximum amount of $3,000,000. Renewal of the contract will be based on the successful performance by the JOC contractor and the needs of the City. The contract maximum may be increased at the time the option is exercised, or at another time deemed prudent by the mutual agreement of both parties. At the City's direction, a Price Book of common scope line items may be required and utilized. The City is a member of the $AVE cooperative purchasing group. $AVE includes the State of Arizona, Maricopa County, many Phoenix metropolitan area municipalities, and many K-12 unified school districts. Under the $AVE Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, and with the concurrence of successful Respondents under this solicitation, a member of $AVE may access a contract resulting from this solicitation issued by the City. By signing the JOC Contract, the Contractor agrees to allow other $AVE members the ability to purchase their needs and "use" this contract for their JOC requirements.
