The Work Includes Replacement of the Shingled Roof on the Monroe County Library With New Metal Roof. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by Either a Bid Bond in an Amount of 100% of the Bid Amount or by Certified Check Or Cashier's Check in the Amount of Not Less Than 10% of the Bid Amount. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract Price. Bidders Must Comply With the State Prevailing Wage Rates. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Irregularities and to Reject Any and All Bids. If Bids Are 10% Over the Estimated Project Cost, the Owner Will Have the Option to Be Rebid the Project. A general description of the work to be performed is in Section 00 24 13 Scope of Bids. All work described in the Plans and Specifications is included in the scope of the Project. All work not specifically described but necessary to the completion of the project is considered to be included in the scope of work. The extent of each type of preformed metal roofing panel as indicated on the drawings and by the provisions of this section. The scope of work includes, but shall not be limited to: preformed metal roof panels, flashing required to weatherproof the system (ridge, hip, valley, cleat, eave, rake wall, rake edge, apron, inside corner, outside corner, gutter, downspout, dip sill, end wall, and other miscellaneous flashing), related accessories necessary for attachment of the roofing system, all butyl tape and sealant used in conjunction with the roofing system, and necessary attachment hardware as required to meet the performance standards and complete the roofing enclosure as indicated by Contract Documents.
