Request For Qualifications Invitation Bellingham School District #501 (the "District") is seeking written statements of qualifications ("SOQ"s) from qualified Consultants to provide integrated planning services for the District's Transportation Facility. The District was awarded an Integrated Planning Grant from Washington State's Department of Ecology Toxic Cleanup program, to support the environmental assessment and redevelopment planning for a single site: The District's Transportation Facility at 1801 James Street which is adjacent to Whatcom Creek. The goal of the project is to restore habitat along Whatcom Creek while meeting the future expansion and modernization needs of the District's transportation services. The purpose of the project is to understand and mitigate environmental risks and evaluate land reuse opportunities that may allow for habitat restoration. All Consultants seeking to submit an SOQ must review the Request for Qualifications in full prior to submission. All Consultants who submitted SOQs will be notified of the successful bidder by letter upon acceptance of the recommended highest scoring and most qualified vendor. The District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in evaluation or reject any/or all SOQs when deemed to be in the best interest of the District.
