Filed Sub-bid trades for this project: Masonry; Miscellaneous & Ornamental Iron; Waterproofing, Dampproofing & Caulking; Roofing & Flashing; Metal Windows; Painting; Fire Protection; Plumbing); HVAC; Electrical. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first part of a two-step RFP process as provided in M.G.L. c. 149, Section 44D 3/4. Based on the SOQs received in this Phase I, the City will select respondents it deems to be prequalified in accordance with the criteria set forth in the RFQ. In Phase II, the prequalified respondents will be invited to submit sub-bids in response to an Invitation to Bid anticipated to be issued in February 2023. Only Filed Sub-bid subcontractors prequalified for this project in this Phase I will be permitted to submit bids in Phase II. The project includes equipment upgrades & other improvements at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant anticipated to commence June 2023 & be completed within 18 months. The estimated construction cost is $19,100,000 & estimated cost for each Filed Sub-Bid trade being pre-qualified for this project are: Masonry ($85,000); Miscellaneous & Ornamental Iron ($295,000); Waterproofing, Dampproofing, & Caulking ($25,000); Roofing & Flashing ($215,000); Metal Windows ($30,000); Painting ($190,000); Fire Protection ($130,000); Plumbing ($160,000); HVAC ($990,000); Electrical ($1,800,000).
