he Town of Jaffrey, New Hampshire seeks statements of qualifications from qualified instrumentation and control technicians to provide professional instrumentation, control, and calibration services for both water and wastewater control systems The Towns of Jaffrey operates and maintains over 41 miles of piping with over 1,500 service connections in Jaffrey and a portion of Rindge, NH. In 2019, an average of 338,076 gallons per day of water was pumped from four well sources (Two wells at Turnpike, one well at Squantum, and one well at Contoocook). These four wells, from three pump houses, pump to two water storage tanks with the help of one booster station. Chlorine, sodium hydroxide, and polyphosphate are all added along the way. The Town of Jaffrey, along with our contract operators, also operates and maintains nearly 20 miles of both gravity and force main sewer lines along with six pump stations. This wastewater makes its way to our 1.25 MGD wastewater treatment plant averaging about 0.5 MGD. Interested instrumentation technicians will be contracted for on-call services not limited to meter calibrations, transducer installations and adjustments, SCADA adjustments, chemical injection adjustments, PLC repairs, and all other needed instrumentation, control, and calibration services that arise.
