The selected Company will be responsible for maintaining and repairing four (4) elevators in total at the following locations Belmont Regional Center, 700 Parkwood Ave. One, 3Stop Hydraulic Elevator.Old City Hall, 600 East Trade St. Two, 4-Stop Traction Elevators Wilmore Community Center, 501 West Blvd. One, 2 Stop Hydraulic ElevatorThe City of Charlotte, North Carolina, is now accepting Proposals for Elevator Maintenance and Repair The selected Company will maintain elevator units using trained personnel. The maintenance will include inspection, lubrication, adjustment, and if conditions or usage warrant, repair, or replacement of the following parts: (a) Controller parts, selectors and dispatching equipment, relays, solid-state components, transducers, resistors, condensers, power amplifiers, transformers, contracts, leads, dashpots, timing devices, computer and microcomputer devices, steel selector tapes, mechanical and electrical driving equipment, signal lamps, and position indicating equipment. (b) Door operators, car door hangers, car door contacts, door protective devices, load weighing equipment, car frames, car safety mechanisms, platforms, car and counterweight guide shoes including rollers and gibs, and emergency car lighting. Services. The requirements for submitting a Proposal are stated in the attached Request for Proposals (the RFP). Please review them carefully. This RFP targets City of Charlotte-certified Small Business Enterprises (SBEs). The City of Charlotte also welcomes submissions from interested parties that do not fall into the aforementioned City-certified category. RFP questions must be directed to Ian Thompson, Department of General Services City Procurement, per the enclosed instructions in Section 2.3. The City is an equal opportunity purchaser.
