It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Overview: Contractor to furnish and install new lapped seam metal paneled roof. Remove existing asphalt shingles and replace with new metal roof. Include bid unit price for replacement of roof sheeting and underlayment. Color to be selected from standard color options. Install per manufacturers recommendations for a complete, watertight installation. See attached Scope of Work and Specification for full details. Project construction period: Estimated Start Date: Upon contract award, once notice to proceed email has been received.
