Renovation of a municipal facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 149 as amended and other applicable statutes. Chapter 149 requires that the Prime/General Contractor be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management in the category General Contractor. All bidders are advised that the minimum wage rate schedule, issued by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Standards are included in the specifications and shall prevail in the work on this project. All bidders are advised the project is subject to the City of Springfield Responsible Employer Ordinance (REO). The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all responses, if in the public interest to do so. Question Deadline 12/21/2022 at 4:00 PM ET All questions regarding the bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement hbutton@springfieldcityhall.com The City of Springfield is seeking bids for the removal and replacement of exterior windows and select doors as well as the associated masonry and flashing work at the Parent & Community Engagement Center (PACE) located at 91 School St., Springfield, MA to include abatement of sealants associated with window replacement. This project includes the replacement of all windows, doors and storefront systems; along with painting the existing brick and trim . Estimated cost of the project is $930,000.00 Estimated Completion Date: August 31, 2023 Design Participation: Combined MBE/WBE goal of(17.9%) Construction Participation: Combined MBE/WBE goal of(10.4%)
