The Federal Aviation Administration is conducting a Market Survey/Request for Information to gain understanding of the current marketplace. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. Responses to this market survey will be used for acquisition planning. All responses to this market survey will be used for planning purposes only. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. Presently, the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to solicitation on a full and open competition basis or set aside all or part of the procurement. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received in response to this Market Survey. Therefore, any costs associated with Market Survey submissions will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY OF WORK: The Contractor must furnish all material, labor, parts, tools, supervision, and equipment necessary to provide a complete full-service maintenance program, including but not limited to preventive maintenance, inspections, tests, adjustments, and repairs of all devices and their components at the following facilities: ELEVATOR INVENTORY A. Mid Delta Regional Airport (GLH-ATCT) 276 Fifth Avenue Greenville, MS 39503 One (1) traction elevator E. Huntsville Intl Airport-Carl T. Jones Field ATCT Building (HSV-ATCT) 100 John S. Harrison Dr. SW Huntsville AL, 35824 One (1) traction elevator F. Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT-ATCT) 1 Airport Rd. Little Rock, AR 72202 One (1) traction elevator G. However, if vendor submits General information on prices/costs or a commercial/catalog price list, the FAA may use the information for planning purposes only. It will NOT be binding in any way. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The electronic submission should be in either Microsoft WORD format or portable document format (PDF), not in a zipped format. Please note that the FAA e-mail server restricts file size to 10MB per email message. ALL CORRESPONDENCES MUST CONTAIN THE ADVERTISEMENT # IN THE SUBJECT LINE. This advertisement must not be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of response to this survey. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: The FAA has been exempted from several Federal laws and regulations as part of the 1996 DOT Appropriations Act, signed into law by President Clinton on November 15, 1995. Some of the exemptions include the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994, the Small Business Act, the Competition in Contracting Act, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The FAA's new Acquisition Management System (AMS) became effective on April 1, 1996 and applies to this requirement. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
