The City of Brady (City) is soliciting Requests for Sealed Proposals (RFP) from Water Storage Tank Maintenance Companies specializing in providing periodic inspection and maintenance of potable water storage tanks for municipalities. Tank maintenance specialty service companies must have a record of compliance for potable water storage tank maintenance activities in the state of Texas and with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) rules & regulations, including appropriate water certifications as licensed by TCEQ. This solicitation is based on a competitive sealed proposal method with the following ranked values: Price @50%, Experience @20%, Technical @15%, and Coating @15%. A detailed methodology can be found in the complete RFQ package. The proposal response shall be limited to 18 pages total, front & back allowed, and the cover page not included. If you consider any portion of your response to be confidential and/or proprietary and that disclosure of its contents to competitors would cause you substantial competitive harm, you must clearly identify those portions of your response by putting the term CONFIDENTIAL OR PROPRIETARY in bold letters on the applicable page(s). The City will attempt to protect the identified portions from disclosure to the extent possible under the law. You will be given notice of any request for disclosure of the identified information and given the opportunity to support your claim of confidentiality before the Texas Attorney General. The City of Brady will not award a proposal to any Contractor or Vendor (Tank Maintenance Service Company) who is delinquent in the indebtedness to this City.
