Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lawndale, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
For the benefit of all proposed bidders, all bid questions shall be submitted by email to Nabi Sidiqi, Assistant Engineer, at nsidiqi@lawndalecity.org. The questions shall be submitted in writing no later than Monday, January 23rd, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. for response in advance of bid date DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Improvements to the Los Angeles Sheriff Department Service Center and Lawndale Public Works Department include the installation of CCTV cameras and monitoring equipment for both facilities, and as described in bid schedule for the following locations. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required in the Specifications and Contract documents for said project. The scope of work consists of the above mentioned improvements at 15331 Prairie Avenue, Lawndale, CA 90260 (Los Angeles Sheriff Department Service Center) & 4722 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Lawndale, CA 90260 (Lawndale Public Works Department), and other related work as described in the Specifications and Contract Documents, by reference, made a part hereof. All in accordance with the plans, specifications, and other contract documents on file in the Public Works Department of the City of Lawndale, California. The words "PUBLIC WORKS & LOS ANGELES SHERIFF DEPARTMENT SECURITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT" shall appear on the envelope of each sealed bid, and each sealed envelope shall be addressed to the City Clerk, City Hall, and Lawndale, California.
