This is an invitation to submit a bid to the City of Chatsworth for the 2023 LMIG CITY WIDE PAVING PROJECT providing repaving/ overlay on more than [1.5] miles of City of Chatsworth Roadways as indicated herein.Scope of Work: The project will be funded with 2023 LMIG and city funds. Construction includes asphalt overlay/repaving leveling and striping on up to 1.5 miles of road including Green Rd, from right of way at Highway 76 to Charles Rd. (milling curb line & intersection; 4236 LF), Olive St. from 5th Ave. (milling cub and patching; 920 LF) Cherokee St. from highway 411 to 4th Ave. (patch; 412 LF), and Barley Dr. from Southern Dr. to Cotton Circle (1358 LF). The work will be approximately 27750 SY of resurfacing around 2300 tons of asphalt. Paint and striping replacement. All work shall conform to the (GDOT) Standards. And other contract requirements, specifications Project work will be required to begin within 60 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and be substantially complete within 180 calendar days. All punch-list items will be required to be complete within 30 days of the Final Inspection. Eligible bidders and subcontractors shall satisfy all applicable licensure requirements for Contractors performing work in the State of Georgia and must meet all applicable insurance and bonding requirements as stipulated in the separate Instructions to Bidders and Contract Documents. Verifying documents for the prime contractor/bidder will be required prior to contract award, and for all subcontractors prior beginning work. Site Examination: The Bidder is advised to examine the location of the work and to inform themself fully as to its conditions; the conformation of the ground; the character, quality and quantity of the products needed preliminary to and during the prosecution of the work; the general and local conditions and all other matters which can in any way affect the work to be done under the Contract. Failure to examine the site will not relieve the successful bidder of their obligation to furnish all products and labor necessary to carry out the provisions of this contract.
