The Project consists of the construction of the Miami RWD #2 Water Treatment Plant Expansion - Phase II will generally include the following but will not be limited to: mobilization of facilities, equipment and materials; construction staking; clearing and grubbing; demolition, earthwork, excavation, construction of clearwell complex; construction of chlorine contact bulding canopy and lab; construction of high service pump building and systems; installation of electrical service and electrical equipment; installation of 24" DIP Miami RWD #2 central finished water line and connection to distribution piping; installation of 12" DIP Miami RWD #2 west finished water line and connection to distribution piping; installation of 20" DIP Johnson #7 finished water line and connection to distribution piping; installation of 16" backwash line and connection to existing main and connection to distribution piping; installation of process piping; installation of chemical feed line and connection to existing injection point; installation of 6" plant water serivce line; installation of P.O.E. and raw water sampling lines to lab; installation of septic holding tank and associated gravity sanitary sewer main; installation of process waste and sanitary sewer drain lines; installation of french drain piping system; installation of overflow piping and associated structures and connection to existing process waste; installation of chlorine and ammonia tanks systems; remove existing chlorine contact basin from service; complete general site work and finish grading, seeding and mulching; construction gravel roads; construct block retaining wall system; construction 8" concrete pavement; grade ditches to drain; construct and install stormwater structures and associated piping; coordinate with Micro-Comm to supply SCADA communications to proposed buildings; coordinate with Gobrolly Internet to coordinate internet to proposed buildings; coordinate with Owner for connections to existing facilities piping and processes; demolition of existing high service and transfer pumps and associated piping and electrical system; removal of existing above grade ground storage tank from service and installation of equipment from equipment procurement contract.
