Site work for a civil project in Englewood, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Englewood (City) is requesting proposals for Engineering Services to design the High Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) Signal to replace the existing signalized crosswalk through the center of the 3400 block of S. Broadway between Hampden Ave and Girard Ave. The crosswalk serves as a critical connection between Englewood's downtown district, however the existing signalization for pedestrian crossing does not provide the level of safety that the City desires at this location. There is also a desire to restripe the existing crosswalk. In an effort to improve pedestrian safety at this location, the City will be administering a Local Agency Project in conjunction with CDOT to reconstruct the pedestrian crossing.
