Cabarrus County Infrastructure and Asset Management (IAM) is soliciting responses from qualified firms licensed in North Carolina to provide providing, full blown design, and cost estimating services of an approximately 10,000 square foot partially elevated outdoor/exterior seating/dining/stage/concert/ assembly area at the Cabarrus County Arena and Events Center located at 4751 NC Highway 49 North in Concord, NC 28025. Sunshades may be incorporated into the design. This area will be utilized for dining during the Cabarrus County Fair in addition to being utilized as a rentable space during Arena events. Stormwater and underground utility evaluation and possible relocation will most likely be needed. Qualifications packages will be evaluated on the firms ability to meet the requirements of this RFQ. Special emphasis will be placed on the proposed teams experience and qualifications. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. Evaluation criteria are as follows: Firm(s) and individual experience with projects of similar scope in terms exterior seating and assembly areas Qualifications, certifications, abilities, availability and geographic location of the key individuals References from past projects No qualification packages will be accepted after this deadline. Firms accept all risk of late delivery regardless of fault.
