Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Missouri City, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The City of Missouri City is accepting statements of qualifications from qualified professional engineers for design services related to the design and reconstruction of various streets. The city may select one or multiple Firms for the projects which shall be required to meet Missouri City and TxDOT standards. (If applicable) For each project the selected Firm will develop construction plans for reconstructing existing, pavement, sidewalks, driveway approaches and ADA ramps as it may apply for each project. The construction plans will include engineering design details for the reconstruction, construction sequencing, and traffic control plan. The Firm will also be responsible for the following: surveying, establishment of a permanent benchmark, geotechnical report, civil engineering, utility design (where applicable), street lighting, traffic control plan, landscaping, tree protection, final design, specifications, and TDLR review as it applies to each project. The City is seeking statements of qualifications from interested engineering Firms. It is the intent of the City to negotiate an agreement with one or multiple Firms for each projects. However, the City reserves the right to choose the same Firm for all projects. An estimated design/analysis schedule within the statement of qualifications will be required as part of the submittal for each project. The responses received will be evaluated and ranked. The City will then enter negotiations with the highest ranked respondent(s) with the objective of entering into a contract for services at a mutually agreeable cost. All costs involved with preparing a submittal, including any interview travel expenses, are the responsibility of the respondent. CST January 13, 2023 Date Answers to Questions will be published January 14, 2023 No pre-statement of qualification meeting is scheduled. The response submitted shall be valid for a period of up to ninety (90) days after the date of opening for negotiation, acceptance and award by the City. CONTRACTOR agrees to obtain, at its own cost, any and all approvals, licenses, filings, registrations and permits required by federal, state or local laws, regulations or ordinances, required for the performance of the Services.
