Pursuant to certain specifications prepared by the South Jersey Transportation Authority, Department of Engineering.The Atlantic City Expressway 2023 Spring Resurfacing Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials and performing all work required to resurface the Westbound Atlantic City Expressway including both shoulders and resurfacing to existing concrete median barrier, concrete bridge barrier, concrete bridge curb and concrete vertical curb. The areas to be resurfaced for the three (3) base bids are as follows: Base Bid 1: Westbound Atlantic City Expressway Resurfacing from Milepost 24.6 to Milepost 29.8 and Interchange 28 Westbound Off Ramp. A Bid Security in the amount of ten percent of the TOTAL BID PRICE but not to exceed $20,000.00, is required to accompany all bid submissions. The Authority, in accordance with law, reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any minor informality in any bid or bids so received. In order to bid this project, the bidder shall be pre-qualified under one (1) of the following NJDOT Class Codes: The bidder shall be prequalified at the time of bid submission. Class Code 2, Paving Class Code 3, Grading and Paving Class Code 5, Heavy Highway Sub Codes 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 3a or 3b Base Bid 2: Westbound Atlantic City Expressway Resurfacing from Milepost 24.6 to Milepost 30.3 and Interchange 28 Westbound Off Ramp Base Bid 3: Westbound Atlantic City Expressway Resurfacing from Milepost 24.6 to Milepost 31.6, Interchange 28 Westbound Off Ramp and Interchange 31 Westbound Off Ramp Bidders are advised to review the detailed scope of work and restrictions noted in the Instructions to Bidders ITB-1, Section 1.
