Renovation of a municipal facility in Winchester, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Miscellaneous Renovation - Cabinets, Lavatories and Tub Liners Attention is called to the fact that no less than the stated minimum salaries and wages must be paid on this project. The Contract will be subject to the "Section 3" Clause, calling for utilization of lowincome businesses and individuals from the project area where feasible. The Contract is also subject to all federal, state and local civil rights, safety, labor and bidding/contracting requirements. All bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976 (TCA Title 62, Chapter 6) of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. No bid will be opened unless the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the following information: the Contractor's license number, the date of the license's expiration, and a quotation of that part of his classification applying to the bid. In the case of joint ventures, this information must be provided by each party submitting the bid. All subcontracts relating to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC which exceed $25,000.00, or masonry subcontracts exceeding $100,000, require the general contractor to list the subcontractor and their respective state license number on the outside of the Bid Envelope. If the subcontract does not exceed the applicable dollar threshold for the above-mentioned categories, the general contractor must certify to this effect, in writing, on the outside of the Bid Envelope. Failure to do so will disqualify the prime bidder. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the bid. The Franklin County Consolidated Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
