Renovation of a residential development in Brockton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Brockton Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the 667-1A Rainbow Terrace, and 667-2 Kennedy Drive Common Entry Door Assembly Replacement, #044095 in Brockton, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Richard Alvord Architects. The Project consists of: Removal of existing wood, glass and door assemblies at the development residential buildings and installation of new aluminum storefront and door assemblies at all first-floor locations. Entry replacement will occur at two developments. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. Construction, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. ** General Bids will be received until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, 24 January 2023 Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight), non- refundable General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 10.4% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to DHCD (David.McClave@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date if the work is estimated to cost less than $500,000 OR 10 calendar days prior to the General Bid date if the work is estimated to cost $500,000 or more Completion Date: 180 Calendar days
