Renovation of a mixed-use development in Appleton, Maine. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
**As of March 13,2023, bids received were rejected.** The Town of Appleton is currently seeking bids for Roof Repairs To the Town Office and Fire Department Roofing Repairs to be made to the Appleton Town Office and the Appleton Volunteer Fire Department buildings located at 2899 and 2915 Sennebec Road, Appleton, Maine. Bids may be made for one, or both of the proposed projects. Please note: The successful bidder will be notified by January 10, 2023, but the bid will not be awarded and the contract signed until affirmative acceptance at the annual Appleton Town Meeting, held in June 2023. Signing the contract is contingent upon town-approved funding. Repairs are to be completed no later than October 30, 2023. The winning bidder will be contacted by January 10, 2023. Please note all work will begin after June 18, 2023 and is contingent upon an affirmative vote during the Appleton June Town Meeting for 2023-2024. The Town of Appleton reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
