Plans call for the Route 2 Multi-Modal Connectivity Project study area includes part of downtown Troy, where the project team will focus on increasing access to the Hudson River and creating a safer, more efficient street network. Funding for the study was provided through NYS Department of State, and will be used to pursue construction funding once completed. As of May 9, 2025, this project is in the design phase. An engineer has been selected for the project.
