The City of La Canada Flintridge is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Management and Inspection Services for the proposed Soundwall Construction on I-210 Freeway Phase II Project (Project). The Project is Phase II of the City's Soundwall Program and consists of the construction of a soundwall segment (S307) along the Interstate 210 (I-210) Freeway from west of La Tour Way to Alta Canyada Road for a length of approximately 1,163 feet. Technical and Cost Proposals shall be submitted in separate sealed envelopes and shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, "Technical Proposal for Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Soundwall Construction on I-210 Freeway, Phase II Project" and "Cost Proposal for Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Soundwall Construction on I-210 Freeway, Phase II Project". Proposals must bear original signatures. Sealed proposals must be addressed to Mr. Maged El-Rabaa, City Engineer, and mailed or delivered to the Public Works Department at the City Hall, One Civic Center Drive, La Canada Flintridge, California 91011-2137. All queries related to the RFP shall be submitted in writing (by e-mail) to the City Engineer at cityengineer@lcf.ca.gov no later than Wednesday, January 4, 2023. The last day to issue any addendum is Friday January 6, 2023. Questions shall be directed to the Public Works Department at (818) 790-8882. All Proposers shall be licensed in the State of California in accordance with provisions of the Business and Professions Code and shall possess a valid license at the time of Proposal's submittal. The successful Consultant and his subconsultants will be required to possess business licenses from the City. The City reserves the right to retain all proposals for a period of 90 days.
