Site work and asbestos abatement for a medical facility in Carbondale, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a medical facility; and for asbestos abatement for a medical facility.
Project consists of Asbestos Abatement and Hazardous Material Abatement at the existing unoccupied Nursing Home buildings #1 and #2. The existing 2 buildings are approximately 56,200 square feet, one story, wood frame and gyp board Construction. E. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. Asbestos Abatment. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of [10%] Ten percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of [30] Thirty days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. All contractors are to email questions to architect by Monday, December 19th at 12:00pm (noon). Architect will respond with an Addendum by end of day Wednesday, December 21st. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their'respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
