Site work and paving for a civil project in Cape Coral, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and road / highway.

In addition to other items as outlined in the specifications and bid documents, the asphalt concrete paving/ patching operations may consist, but shall not necessarily be limited to all or part of the following: Question Deadline 01/06/2023 at 4:00 PM ET o All maintenance of traffic. o Notification to public safety departments concerning work within the right-of-way that would result in detours of emergency vehicles. o Scraping material from the edge of the road to establish an even pavement edge and provide drainage from the roadway surface to the adjacent swale drainage system. o Milling/ removal of the existing roadway surface. o Leveling/ overbuild of the existing roadway surface. o Material delivery to site (hauling). o Adjustment of existing utilities to match new pavement elevations. o Application of prime and/or tack coat(s). o Roadway Structural Repairs. o Superpave Type SP-9.5 or SP-12.5 asphalt overlay. o Replacement of any existing Striping, Markings, and Retro Reflective Pavement Markings (RPMs). o Street sweeping, as necessary, & final clean-up of the job site and repair of any damage caused by paving and other Contractor activities. o Sod placement and watering Bid security shall be in the amount of 5% of the total base bid. The City reserves the right before recommending any award to inspect the facilities and organization or to take any other action necessary to determine ability to perform in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions.
