Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Saint Augusta, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 19,000-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

St. Cloud Fire Station 6 will provide critical fire and emergency service infrastructure to keep up with increasing emergency incidents and a gap in service delivery response times to a high life and property hazard area in the southern part of our community. Fire Station 6 will also provide heavily-needed resources to maintain city-wide coverage as complex incidents increase. Fire Station 6 will be modeled after existing St. Cloud Fire stations, while keeping up with modern health, safety, and response standards. This will be an “around-the-clock” community facility, staffed with fire suppression and emergency medical personnel, with an approximate facility area of 19,000 square feet. This project is in included in the City of St. Cloud FY 2025 - 2030 CIP. As of July 1, 2024, per owner, this project has only received a pre-design study at this time. Budgetary calculations have not yet been finalized and funding is scheduled to be conditional on a fall ballot initiative. Following that, a project scope will be determined and requests disseminated for the project. Further information is estimated to be available in the spring of 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
