As of March 3, 2023, this project has been awarded. Questionnaire for Prospective Bidders on Public Works Contracts, shall submit same on or before 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2023. This project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to remove the existing pump, motor, and column assembly; install new submersible pump, slim-line motor, column assembly, power cable, sounding tubes, and all appurtenant materials; chlorination of the well and pumping assembly; daily clean-up of the job site at the conclusion of each work day; complete an efficiency test; and perform all incidental work necessary to complete repair in accordance with the specifications. To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder, or subcontractor, must possess a valid State of Hawaii C-57a or C-68 Contractors license. The original executed and notarized Standard Qualification Questionnaire for Offerors form (SQQ) provided by the Department of Water Supply is required to be filed with the Manager-Chief Engineer for evaluation no later than eight (8) days prior to the time advertised for the opening of bids unless the bidder has previously filed a Questionnaire within the previous two (2) years of the date of opening of bids.
