Saving Project...

Site work for a mixed-use development in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to provide services for the removal and installation of conduit and junction boxes at several locations. The City desires to replace approximately 340' of directional bored 3' conduit, remove 6 existing junction boxes, and remove 45 square feet of sidewalk. The project consists of installing VDOT Standard JBS -1, VDOT JBS-2 and the replacement of approximately 45 square feet of sidewalk. The project is to upgrade the conduit and junction boxes at five locations: (1) Jefferson and Kingsridge; (2) Jefferson and Lyliston; (3) Jefferson and McLawhome; (4) Thorncliff and Warwick and (5) Warwick and City Center. The upgrade will improve the traffic signal equipment. All work and specs must meet VDOT road and bridge standards. Questions regarding this Request for Quotes (RFQ) must be submitted in writing through the OpenGov Procurement Question/Answer Tab via the City's e-Procurement portal, on or before, Tuesday, January 10, 2023 by 1:00 pm. Please include the section title for each question
