Clarification Deadline 12/20/2022 1:00 PM West Whiteland Township is requesting bids for Grit Removal & Disposal. West Whiteland Township is soliciting quotes for the removal and disposal of grit/debris from the wet wells of five (5) sanitary sewer pump stations located in West Whiteland Township and one (1) meter pit located in Downingtown. The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, inspections, and equipment necessary for the performance and completion of the Work, as required by the Scope of Work, during a one-year period January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. Contractor's equipment must be in good operating condition and designed for this type of work. The Work shall be executed in the best and most workmanlike manner by qualified, skillful, and experienced workers. All employees working on this project must be Confined Space Entry (CSE) certified, as well as, any other required safety measures. The Contractor may be entering the wet wells at each Pump Station, as well as, the meter pit. The completion hours noted for each Pump Station in the Scope of Work are the maximum number of hours available to complete the Work, due to the shutdown of the individual pump stations.
