Completed plans call for the addition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Trade Packages included are: Trade Package 03a: Concrete Trade Package 05a: Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Trade Package 06a: General Trades Work Trade Package 21a: Fire Protection Trade Package 22a: Plumbing Trade Package 23a: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Trade Package 26a: Electrical and Security Trade Package 31a: Site Grading and Excavation, Site Utilities, and Landscape Restoration Trade Package 31b: Asphalt Paving and Striping The Construction Manager will not provide technical support or additional instructions on connecting to or attending the meeting. All questions should be addressed in writing via email to Thomas Carrano at tcarrano@ihcconstruction.com and must be submitted by end of the day on January 12, 2023. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cash in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to Wilmette Park District and IHC Construction Companies, LLC. The Board of Wilmette Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the Park District. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public projects. Bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory Requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. The successful bidder will be required to furnish insurance equal to or greater than the specified amounts and conditions. The cost of the insurance will be included in each bidder's proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond to the owner and IHC Construction Companies, LLC equal to 100% of the proposal amount. The cost of the performance and payment bond will be included in each bidder's proposal.
