Site work for a water / sewer project in East Hampton, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Scope : A. The work to be performed under this Contract shall include all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals required to perform the proposed construction as indicated in the Specifications, shown on the Contract Drawings and/or as approved by the Town's Designated Representative. B. In general, the work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization 2. Furnish, Install and Maintain Soil Erosion & Sediment Control practices as depicted and/or described in the Contract Documents 3. Temporary Protection and Fencing 4. Pump out and disposal of existing sanitary system effluent 5. Abandonment/Remediation/Removal of Existing Sanitary System components as depicted and/or described in the Contract Documents, in accordance with approved Sanitary Plans 6. Thorough cleaning of all existing sanitary leaching pools and piping to be re-used 7. Excavation, backfilling and compaction as required for the installation of all sanitary cleanouts, components, and piping, including the tie-in to the existing Comfort Station Building. This work shall include any overcut and backfill associated with poor soils encountered during installation. The Contractor is responsible to restore and compact disturbed asphalt pavement areas to finished subgrade. 8. Furnish and Install new I/A O.W.T.S. and all other components as depicted and/or described in the Contract Documents, including but not limited to: control panel, conduits, piping, electrical service, blowers, vents, concrete slabs, vaults, covers, etc. including service connections of same 9. Furnish and Install New Sanitary Leaching Structures with associated piping 10. Site Preparation, Sub-grade preparation and grading to the lines, levels, and grades depicted and/or described in the Contract Documents and/or as directed by the Town's Designated Representative 11. The Contractor shall follow all Suffolk County Department of Health Services (SCDHS) Regulations and Permit Conditions. The Contractor is responsible to obtain Final Approval from the Office of Wastewater Management and Office of Pollution Control. Each proposal must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid package, in a sealed envelope with the name of the bidder, and the bid name marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. A 10% bid deposit and a Certificate of Non-Collusion must accompany all bid submissions The Town Board of the Town of East Hampton reserves the right to reject and declare invalid any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received.
