Bids for furnishing of design, materials, equipment, and labor for INTERNATIONAL DRIVE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE I will be opened and read in the Ludlow Room of the Town Hall immediately following the deadline. Bids must be executed in accordance with and subject to instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure the sealed bid or proposal is delivered prior to the deadline above. The INTERNATIONAL DRIVE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE I (State Project No. L164-0007) will consist of improvements to the Northbound Lanes of International Drive beginning at the intersection with Rainbow Road, Windsor and extending north to the intersection with Rainbow Road (Route 20), East Granby. Work will include a peel and pave of the roadway surface, with sections of full depth reconstruction. The project also includes the installation of curbing, replacement of catch basin tops, pavement marking, and restoration of disturbed areas. Federal Express orders will only be considered if accompanied by a properly filled out Federal Express form (one form for each set ordered), charging the order to the Contractor's account. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive defects in same if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town of Windsor.
