The City of Solana Beach, California, issues a Request for Bid (RFB) to perform yearly inspections and preventative maintenance of automatic rollup doors, overhead panel and roll-up doors, and store front doors at various City facilities. The City is seeking a full service door contractor that can repair or replace all types of door hardware, closers, including automatic and ADA, hinges, jambs/frames. The successful company shall be familiar with and can provide maintenance and repair work on the doors per the manufacturer's recommendations. Engineer's Estimated Cost: $0 to $150,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required License Type Required: C-61/D-28 Contractor's License Bid Bond Percentage: 100% Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid shall accompany the Bid. In accordance with the California Labor Code, the Contractor must pay not less than prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations for all work done under this contract. Contractors must also be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations per Labor Code Section 1771.1(a).
