Saving Project...

Site work, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Waycross, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 68,000-square-foot educational facility; for outdoor lighting for a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and water / sewer project.

The Ware County Board of Education is requesting sealed bids for the WARE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL MULTI-PURPOSE COVERED PRACTICE FIELD. The project scope of work will consist of, but is not limited to, the following: Approximately 68,000 square feet of an open-air pre-engineered metal building structure to cover the existing Ware County High School Practice field. The existing natural turf field will be removed and replaced with a synthetic turf field. Two existing shot-put areas will be demolished and two new shot-put areas will be constructed. The existing track surface will be removed and resurfaced. The synthetic turf field and resurfacing of the track will be performed through a Cooperative Purchasing Agency (selection of an Owner-approved vendor is complete). The Contractor will be responsible for all coordination of work included in the synthetic turf installation and the track resurfacing. Additional work will include new site lighting for the track, electrical lighting and power, underground drainage and associated civil work.
