It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that its bid is received at the above location by the stipulated closing time. Bids received after the stipulated closing time will be rejected and returned to the Bidder unopened. Faxed bids are not acceptable and will be rejected. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality, incompleteness or error in any bid. This is a Request for Quotations only. The City shall not be obligated in any manner whatsoever to any supplier until a letter of award is received by the successful Bidder. Please note the City of Dawson Creek remains in Mountain Standard Time (MST) year round and does not observe Daylight Savings Time. All emails must be received by the City no later than the closing time in Dawson Creek, BC. Late submissions will not be accepted or considered. The City will not be liable for any delay or non-receipt of emails for any reason including technological delay or issues by either party's network or email program. The City accepts no responsibility for submissions that fail for any reason to enter into the City's email system by the closing time. As email transmission can be delayed due to high volumes of internet traffic, file transfer size, transmission speed etc., it is the Bidder's responsibility to submit their bid sufficiently in advance of the closing time to allow for receipt by the City. Bidders submitting email bids close to the deadline do so at their own risk. The Corporation of the City of Dawson Creek (the City) is requesting bids for the provision of janitorial services for a 27 month term (February 1, 2023 - April 30, 2025) at the Dawson Creek Public Library located at 1001 McKellar Ave, Dawson Creek, BC V1G 4W7 Questions regarding specifications can be directed to Melina Sweezey, Parks and Facilities Manager, at msweezey@dawsoncreek.ca. The City will not accept bids submitted from companies that are owned by City employees.
