Upgrades to the Wirral Court and Brule Gardens Sewage Pumping Station (SPS). TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals has been issued by the owner. The awarded proponent will provide engineering services related to the Environment Assessment of the sewer systems including the Wirral Court Sewage Pumping Station (SPS) and Brule Gardens SPS. The engineer will: Collect and review background information and data required for this study; Update the network in the model based on the recent field investigations; calibrate and validate ICM or ICM SE model to assess flows from the drainage area into the Wirral Court Sewage Pumping Station (SPS) and the Brule Gardens SPS and identify capacity constraints in the pumping stations and sewer systems under existing and future development conditions. Develop and evaluate alternative solutions to comply with Toronto Water's design standard for capacity and flooding protection, MOECC Design Guidelines for Sewage Works, City of Toronto Design Criteria for Sewers and Watermains, Appendix I - Pumping Station and MOECC F-5-5 Procedure for water quality control. Work at the Brule Gardens SPS is provisional and will proceed at the City's discretion and is contingent upon on the continued good performance of the Supplier on the Wirral Court SPS location. Some considerations which will impact the decision include the quarterly Professional Services Performance Evaluations (PSPE) and that the progress of the Wirral Court Site at the 12-month mark is progressing satisfactorily against the proposed schedule. Select preferred solutions and provide a conceptual design for the preferred solutions for the pumping station, forcemain and the sewers for each SPS study Delivery Schedule for Goods or Services OR Contract Duration: 30 months, with 12-month option to extend. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
